About Us
At the Donna Jewel Store is Founder and Creative Director Donna, an intuitive, cultural observer. A self-taught designer from Canada, Donna designs emanate from her ability to plug into the zeitgeist and deliver collections that are “in the know”. Each piece starts out as a sketch in Canada office, in the heart of Toronto. Her designs are often featured in the world’s most influential fashion publications from Vogue to The Cut. They have garnered the attention of countless celebrities and are available in leading fashion retailers worldwide, including Nordstrom, Revolve, Shopbop, Liberty London and Le Bon Marché.
We partner with trusted suppliers and use carefully selected, responsibly sourced materials, so you can wear your pieces with confidence, knowing they’re made to last.
Coming from three generations in the industry, I’m deeply connected to the world of fine jewelry. When I decided to enter the space myself, I knew I wanted to do things differently. At Donna Jewel, we’re shifting the focus from traditional archetypes of gifting to buying jewelry for your damn self.”
—Noura Sakkijha, CEO
We believe luxury and sustainability go hand in hand—and together, they represent the future of the jewelry industry. Thoughtfully crafted, high-quality jewelry is more than an accessory; it’s a powerful form of self-expression and a catalyst for positive social and environmental impact.
We concentrate our sustainability efforts on the four pillars that are material to our business: people, planet, product, and philanthropy.
Your taste in jewelry can change based on the day, your mood, your outfit, and just about anything else. That’s why we design all our jewelry in-house and release new products regularly, because we know how important it is to have the perfect piece for every version of you. Yep, even the ones you haven’t met yet.
Our commitment to lasting change in the fine jewelry industry and the communities we serve requires a strategic, collaborative, and multi-faceted approach. That’s why, over the past year, we shared our long-term goals across four key impact areas: people, planet, product, and philanthropy.
By sharing our vision and tracking our progress, we aim to drive meaningful change in our operations and inspire our suppliers and industry peers to do the same. Setting clear, measurable goals ensures transparency, accountability, and real progress. Here’s a closer look at how we’re working toward these goals.
Over the years, we’ve grown from a small team working out of Toronto, Canada to a global brand—including an in-house design studio— with over 700 team members across our headquarters and retail stores.
We’re proud to share that 78% of our team identify as women.
